Hi, I'm new to this forum.
Even though I can read and understand German, I will write this in English so you don't have to put up with my rusty German grammar .

I, as well as another Swedish Siw-fan wonder if Siw will perform anywhere in Germany or elsewhere in 2007. We would have liked to go to the GWS-tour this autumn, but financial problems prevented this. Rumors that Siw has plans to retire also scared us a bit, especially since we've never seen her live on stage. Therefore, we also wonder if there is any truth in that claim.

Being the great artist she is, I hope that Siw will continue for many years to come...

its correct, that GWS will finish their show at december 06.
but its possible, that them have some concerts in 2007 with it.

Welcome to the Forum, I'm Frans Berkers from Holland and can tell you about Siws "retirement".
Siw said awhile ago in a radio interview here in Germany that she would like to close her Tysk Karriär with a big succes, that was a wish!
She also said in that interview that she would keep coming to Germany and perform in Oldie-Shows etc..
In showbusiness a goodbye is never definitive, Siws Jazzbacillen are still in her blood.
Along came GWS Gitte Wenche Siw - Die Show...the big succes Siw wished for...she enjoys it very much!
Now GWS goes in his third year 2007 untill May and then it will probably stop as the touring is concerned, there will be separate performances offcourse.
Siw turns 70 this year and I think she diserves to take it easy after being more than 50 years in showbusiness and enjoy life.
But totally stopping was something she never considered, only in a slower pace!

nach nun weiteren 2 gesehenen Shows in Berlin kann ich Gitte, Wencke und Siw nur noch mehr bewundern!
Was mich nicht mehr aus dem Staunen brachte ist Siws "Bossa Nova Baby".Phänomenal-und mitreissende Performance ohne
Ende.Außerdem durfte ich sie auch kurz nach der Show sehen - und stelle fest: in Wirklichkeit ist sie dazu mindestens so reizend und liebenswert wie auf der Bühne.- STANDING OVATIONS - für Siw und Grüße an alle Mit-Fans!

Was ist jetzt eigentlich mit dem Interview mit siw, das gemacht werde sollte,
Ich glaub das sollte doch in wien gemacht werden , oder ???

Weisst da jemand was, z.b. frans , macht nicht frans dieses interview mit unsrer lieben siwan.
